The boat is at Mystic Shipyard East for winter storage, which is included in the sale It is a 1984 Young Brothers hull (from Corea, ME).

I bought the boat because of its potential to be a good charter boat.

Indeed, the professional divers I brought out to Watch Hill Reef to document the remains of the 1811 Naval schooner "Revenge" of Oliver Hazard Perry were very pleased with it as a dive boat.

Mac Pettegrow, of Southwest Harbor, ME did all the finish work for 2 separate owners; the original had him finish the bare hull as a basic traditional styled lobster boat with the intended use as sport fishing only.

The guys at Pettegrow, where the boat was also docked after completion, said the owner (a friend of Mac’s) let them use it anytime, and they used it more than he did!

It was sold in '89 to a Texan with a summer home in Boothbay who had them close in the pilot house and add the flybridge.

The guys told me if they had known that it was ever to have a f/b, they would have built the house a bit different, but it is definitely a unique look.

The boat sat at a mooring off his house for the 2 months of the year they were up from Texas and had very light use, till he died and the widow sold the boat, to me, in 2004.

Official number is 671060.

It is registered in CT till April 2012.

I did change the engine oil last summer, and the fuel filters prior to running this spring.

The turbo and injectors were rebuilt in ’05.

Newly replaced exhaust/water elbow.

Electronic engine and gear controls to both stations (pilot house and flybridge) with dedicated 12V battery. 2 batteries for starting and supply with a dual battery switch and a 110V charger (for when on shore power).

Twin Disc gear, 2” shaft, 4 blade 30X28 LH prop.

Twin 150 fuel tanks, dual Dahl water separator / fuel filters.

Newly installed "Fuel Tech" magnetic in-line fuel filter. 100 gallon water tank. 12V pressure pump. “Tank Tender” gauges. 25 gallon waste tank.

Electric head. 25 gallon hot water heater- runs off shore power, or engine jacket water heat.

Bennett hydraulic trim tabs.

There was a generator that I removed, as it wasn’t operable, so there is some plumbing and wiring remaining.

There is a storage locker with sliding door on the cockpit side of the house that includes a bracket to hold an outboard.

There is storage space and stuffing box access in the hold under the cockpit.

All tanks are located there, also.

Galley is down in the cabin, and has a 2 burner propane stove, sink, and built-in ice chest.

The head has sink, toilet, showerhead and floor drain to a sump.

V-berth forward, convertible settee to port.

And a hanging locker.

Pilot house is sparse- folding pilot chair, folding chart table, two shelf units, and small storage space under the unfinished port side future seating (?).

Flybridge has a canvas bimini, an un-mounted 2 person bench seat, and plentiful storage under the console.

Full width teak swim platform.

Electronics: 2006 Furuno 1715 Radar; Furuno Video Sounder (came with boat - ‘80’s) with depth repeater on f/b; VHF radio in pilot house and f/b, both on same antennae, which was new in ’05; Danforth compasses both stations.

There are also 2 Northstar GPS units that are not operable at this time, though I suspect it may just be an antennae problem.

There are some unfinished areas from uncompleted alterations.

Price Negotiable.
