The Turtle is a remarkably restored, modified and
maintained freshwater sailboat.
All sails are self furling and managed
from the cockpit.
The Turtle comes complete with 8’ Apex ridge bottom
dingy, 5 HP Mercury outboard, completely rebuilt 2009 16” Max Prop, 6
KW Lewmar bow thruster,55 HP Westerbeke, ProFurl Boom furling main
with Lewmar electric winch, Yankee jib, staysail and mizzen each
roller furled, two zone heat pumps 12,000 BTU 6,000 BTU, water cooled
refrigeration, Raymarine electronics including autohelm and GPS wcolor
chartplotter, modified for external chain plates, new 2012 propeller
shaft and cutlass bearing, windlass w 50’ chain and 150’ rope anchor
rode, 35 lb plow anchor w’ secondary Danforth, updated galley with
propane oven and automatic propane safety shut-off, marine radio and
10-CD stereo, full canvas with dodger and bimini including all around
Eisenglass and screens, bifold teak companionway door with screen
replacement, thru-bolted stanchion mounts, Atkins Hoyle davits
