| | | | BOAT OWNER'S NOTES:
I bought this boat for fishing and diving and it has served me extremely well.
I love this boat, but I'm aging and not using it like I used to.
This 27' Bonaventure is by acclimation the best riding rough water boat on the water.
It's 10' beam which extends almost to the bow, gives the vessel great stability in any sea.
It was built, designed and outfitted as a kingfish boat, and reconfigured as a fishing/diving vessel.
The 3116 diesel pushes the boat at a cruising speed of 25 mph.
The large custom cutting board on the stern makes working baits very easy and convenient.
A wash down hose is mounted immediately below the cutting board.
Also on the stern are two 12 volt twist lock plugs designed for electric reels.
Behind the console on the deck are two circulating live wells that are very functional.
There is more than ample storage and in the center of the vessel fore of the console is a 2000 lb insulated fish storage box.
I have only used it twice on offshore tuna trips.
I keep two large coolers on the boat for normal ice and fish storage.
The helm is very functional with a 10" screen 1000 watt Lowrance Fathometer/plotter/GPS on the right, and a new recently installed 10" screen Garmin color radar, SiriusXM satellite weather display.
Just below the steering wheel is the auto pilot display.
The instruments are mounted on a slightly slanted dash allowing easy viewing.
The Furuno GPS is just above eye level as well as the VHF with a separate speaker.
Above the GPS & VHF, mounted in a waterproof box, is an AM/FM CD Unit.
There are 16 rod holders and another 4 on the aft portion of the T-Top.
There are also 12 gunnel rod holder.
The custom built dive ladder is designed to allow easy exit from the water with all gear on, and it's also portable for removal when only fishing.
The crows nest on top of the vessel is portable enabling the triple axle trailer to safely & legally travel any road.
MAINTENANCE – This boat is in great shape and has had regular maintenance and repairs performed as needed.
The oil and filters have been changed every 200 hours, rather than the required 250 hours.
There is a certified marine survey available for review by a serious buyer.
I will consider owner financing for a portion of the sale price with significant down and proper vessel insurance.
