“Hide Aweigh” is being sold by owner which should, generally, avoid sales tax, but you should check your own state's revenue department requirements.

The boat was purchased in March, 2007 by the present owner.

It was surveyed by two of the best in the state of FL-recommended by the financing entity.

The survey was the basis for many upgrades which necessitated a substantial investment.

The survey upgrades were done by professionals in their field in Florida.

More upgrades were done over the winter on the Tenn-Tom waterway in Mississippi where the boat is currently berthed.

The trip to MS from FL crossed the gulf, used the intercoastal and the TT waterway.

Many other upgrades were done to owner liveaboard specs.

WELCOME ABOARD Accommodations: An all NEW interior was installed by the former owner in 2004 in a tropical island motif including headliner, carpet, furnishings, mattresses, quilts and pillows.

Also installed are freshwater vacuflush heads.

Level 1 (lower level) has guest berth and guest head with shower across a passageway.

The master berth includes an office, berth and head with tub/shower.

The office allows for two guest single bunks and privacy.

Has music, TV outlets and a shelf on each side of the bed for books, tissues and other bedroom needs in master and guest.

There are two lockers in the master – one hanging and one for stacking.

The guest has one small hanging locker.

The new owner installed a hanging bar the length of the guest bed for additional “liveaboard” clothing.

Also, the central vacuum, combination washer/dryer and sumps are accessed in the passageway in this level.

A spacious open floor plan on level 2 includes salon and galley with a sliding door to the cockpit.

There is a blender built in, double sink, large fridge with freezer, 3-burner electric stove w/oven and new microwave (2006) plus a trash compactor – all in the galley area.

Also, in this area are TV and wet bar w/ice maker plus access to stereo music.

The pilothouse is on level 3 with doors opening to the deck both port and starboard.

This arrangement gave the current owner the ability to single hand thru 4 locks on the Tenn-Tom with no problems whatsoever.

Seating for 4 guests plus a Captain's helm chair keeps guests and Captain comfortable.

Electronics and other pilothouse amenities are discussed further on.

Level 4 is an upper helm with steering, electronics, etc., plus seating (06) for approximately 12 persons.

The boat was purchased with a bimini, but the current owner fully covered the upper helm.

Also, on the upper level at the rear is a 10' Rib ('03) with a 15hp Mercury 4 stroke outboard ('03) both of which were cleaned up and reconditioned in July, 2007.

The RIB is attached to an Electric Dinghy Davit to lift it to and from the water.

The work planned by the new owner should raise the value from $190,000 to $200,000 based, also, on the price of new boats in 2007 and 2008 and the asking prices of like kind boats in the Florida area.

Excerpts from Survey Narrative: Determination of the value and condition of this vessel is based upon the owner’s compliance to all of the recommendations sited.

This vessel appears in good condition for age and type reflecting good care & maintenance by its present owner(s).

As far as may be ascertained from a general overall examination of said vessel while hauled out, afloat, and on a trial run, without making removals or opening up parts normally concealed, it is the opinion of the surveyor that the hull, machinery and equipment are in apparent good condition, over and above recommendations, at this inspection.

Vessel meets CG, NFPA and ABYC standards.

In my opinion this vessel appears very favorable & in compliance with applicable recommendations on all survey points.

Present Owner Notes: The survey quoted in part in this spec sheet was the basis for over $40,000 worth of upgrades from electronics to physical plant.

The present owners had planned to retire in 2-3 years and “liveaboard” while traveling and exploring this great countries' waterways.

The shallow draft of this boat gives the owner of it the ability to go where other boats of this size may not.

But those plans have changed.

It, therefore, is with deep regret that the owner and his wife now offer this boat for sale after owning it for only one year and upgrading it to its' present condition.

The price ($185k) only covers the cost of the boat and upgrades.

It is a firm price as the owners do enjoy using the boat as a condo on the water at its present location and are under no pressure to sell this boat.

The present owners believe that this boat is one of the great bargains in boating today.

However, your own surveyor is invited to inspect the boat at any time at your expense.
